Saint George's day

Today is St George's Day where the country will join in the celebration of England's patron saint, St George. Also known as the Feast of St George, England's national day is celebrated on April 23 each year. According to legend, St George killed a dragon and saved a princess while serving as a soldier in the Roman army.
