It's Anaphylaxis Awareness Week!

So, what's anaphylaxis?

Well, it's a severe and often sudden allergic reaction. Anaphylaxis can occur when someone with allergies comes into contact with something they're allergic to (an allergen). These reactions typically start within minutes of exposure and rapidly progress, but they can occur up to two or three hours later.

It is potentially life-threatening and an immediate emergency response is always required.

There are tonnes of ways you can get involved to help this cause, through raising awareness and/or fundraising, whether that's with a personal challenge, a sponsored event, an office quiz night, a bake sale or something else entirely!
