Sponsor Interview with Patience and Jessica

Introduction: Can you briefly introduce yourselves and share a bit about your background before joining our company?

I am Patience and I moved from Zimbabwe to Bedford where I was sponsored overseas by another care company of which they did not have any hours for me. I moved to Ashford to my brother in laws and worked 20 hours a week for another care company whist seeking a sponsor switch.

First Impressions: How has your experience been in the country during your first few months?

What were your initial impressions of the local culture and work environment? I was excited, but where I had no job, and my family were back at home I was stressed and worried about my future.

Cultural Exchange: Have you had the chance to exchange cultural insights with your colleagues? How has the cultural exchange enriched your work and personal life?

I feel loved and appreciated, happy and welcome.

What are your expectations for the future, both in terms of your personal growth and the company's success?

I would like to grow in my career and become the best carer I can, perhaps work my way up to team leader.

Advice for Others: If you could give advice to others considering a similar experience, what would it be?

If given the chance, grab it. Good company to work for and reliable. Recruitment process with Jess is straight forward, quick, effective and good communication. Favourite Moments: Can you share one or two favourite moments or experiences you've had since joining our company? Paul helping me with my car when I had nobody else to help me. That will always be my favourite moment.
