Registered Nurse, Reigate (permanent)

Our client is currently looking for a Registered Nurse to join their team. This is a permanent opportunity, based in Reigate, Surrey.

The Company
A nursing and residential home based in a quiet residential area, with easy access to Reigate and Redhill train stations and free car parking. Residents include the elderly, those with dementia, Alzheimer's, physical disabilities and individuals requiring respite care. Care is tailored towards the individual needs of each resident, and the atmosphere is a 'home from home' environment. 
 
The Role
As a key member of the nursing team, your role will include:
  • Supporting residents, their families and the care team with every stage of the resident's journey
  • Assessing residents' care needs, ensuring care plans and records are kept up to date and tailored to the needs of the individual
  • Medication administration, ensuring the medical needs of residents are met
  • Liaising with other services and professionals for any specialist care needs
  • Supervising the care team
Working as part of the nursing team, you will be expected to cover 3 shifts per week (36 hours) - a long day on Saturday and 2 night shifts (flexible).
Renumeration is £18 p/h. Morning and afternoon breaks are paid, and you will be provided with a hot meal on day shifts. 
Additional benefits include 5.6 weeks' paid annual leave, pension contributions, free DBS, free uniform, and paid training time.
 
About You
  • You are a qualified RGN / RMN with a valid NMC pin number
  • You have previous experience in a nursing home environment
  • Dementia experience is preferred but not essential
  • You live within commuting distance to Reigate
  • You must be eligible to live and work in the UK
