Our client, a top quality care home in Reigate, have a vacancy for a housekeeper to join their team.  This is a permanent position working for the client directly.

The opportunity:

A care home based in a beautiful Victorian building, within walking distance to Reigate and Redhill stations and close to a number of bus routes.  Working as part of the housekeeping team, your role will be to ensure cleanliness, hygiene and infection control standards are maintained throughout the home.  Previous experience is not required as full training will be given.

This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm plus a 1 in 4 weekend shift. The role could also be shared between two people seeking part-time work.  

• Pay is £9.07 per hour.  You will receive a shift premium of 1.5 or double time for any bank holidays.

About you:

• You are passionate about providing a high quality housekeeping service.  Previous experience in a care home, school or similar environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• A team player, with attention to detail and a passion for customer care.
• You have received at least your first COVID-19 vaccination and are scheduled to receive your second vaccination before 11th November 2021.
• You are eligible to work in the UK and live within commuting distance of Reigate, RH2.
