We are recruiting for a Healthcare Assistant - Days - on behalf of our client, a high quality care home based a short walk from Reigate town centre. This is a permanent role.
The role
As a key member of the care team, you will be:
- Supporting residents, ensuring they have maximum choice and control of their lives
- Delivering care in a person-centred way, encouraging residents to engage and interact
- Ensuring care given is documented according to company policies
- Delivering and maintaining a high standard of personal care in a way that respects the residents' dignity and promotes independence
The company
A local care home with a 'community' feel, centred around providing the best possible care and lifestyle for their residents. The care home is a beautiful Victorian building, with around 30 residents over 3 floors. It has a landscaped garden and courtyard. There is an excellent staff to resident ratio, and many staff have been with the home for a number of years.
Hours
The company appreciates that you may have commitments outside of work and offers flexibility on which days you work. Shifts available include long days (8am-9.15pm), earlies (8am-2.45pm) and lates (2.30pm-9.15pm). Your contracted hours will be 33 per week. If you would like to increase your earnings there is also the opportunity to pick up additional shifts, nights or days.

Candidate requirements
- Previous care experience would be beneficial, however the client is happy to consider applicants who have not worked in care before, as long as they demonstrate a passion for providing first class customer service and a caring nature.
