A A A

In the modern working world it is far too common for individuals to wonder what it is they can offer businesses, but it's as equally important to consider what recruiters can offer their staff. A happy workforce is productive, so it's in the best interest of recruiters to ensure staff are fulfilled in their roles.

Kare Plus is a big advocate of rewarding and recognising success, which is why so many of our franchises run employee of the month awards, alongside other similar schemes. This got us thinking though, what else does Kare Plus offers its staff? And why should you consider us over the competition?

With that in mind, here are just a few of the perks and benefits of working with Kare Plus.

Flexible Working Hours

Kare Plus employees enjoy flexible working hours, enabling individuals to work as much or as little as they want. We encourage a healthy work-life balance as we understand staff have lives and commitments outside of work. This is an ethos that has always been popular with working parents and students in our network as it enables them to work around their commitments.

Ongoing Training and Continued Personal Development

The healthcare industry is one that develops and evolves at a fast rate, so ensuring carers and nurses are up-to-date on the latest technologies and methods is important. Kare Plus works alongside several training providers across the UK to ensure all staff members have access to an ever expanding library of training materials. These are skills that will not only help you in the workplace, but will make you more employable!

A list of our training courses can be found here.

Access to a Clinical Lead / Revalidation Support

All Kare Plus Nurses can rely on the support of our in-house clinical lead. With a wealth of experience in nursing and healthcare, our clinical lead can provide the kind of support to our nurses that no other head office member of staff can. This also goes for revalidation, a process that all nurses must go through to remain registered on the NMC Nursing Register. Our clinical lead will provide one-to-one support to ensure a smooth revalidation process.

Employee Referral Scheme

Although this varies between businesses in the Kare Plus network, many of them run referral schemes for those who recommend us to a friend. If you’re considering Kare Plus and you know a friend who already works for their local business, why not let Kare Plus know? It may not directly benefit you, but your friend will certainly be pretty happy.

Job Satisfaction

Working in healthcare is a unique career; our carers and nurses change and improve the lives of our customers on a day-to-day basis. There aren’t many roles that involve improving the quality of life for another person, which is why care is so special. We aim to match customers with the same carers regularly as we understand how important continuity is for customers, but we also understand that carers are often invested in the wellbeing of our customers, so it's important that they are able to support a familiar group of customers.

A Foot in the Door

Care can be a difficult industry to join. Many positions require minimum amounts of experience and professional references before an individual can be considered for an interview. Our homecare positions do not require previous experience as all successful candidates must undertake a comprehensive training course and shadow more experienced members of staff before they are allowed to work.

Weekly Pay

Waiting for payday at the end of the month can be tiresome, and especially painful during the longest months of the year - we’re looking at you December & January. Therefore, you’ll be happy to know that our carers and nurses are paid on a weekly basis. This means that should you work for Kare Plus, you could earn a weekly wage in as little as two weeks.

These are just a few of the different reasons to join Kare Plus, but there are lots more. If you would like to find out more, why not ring your local branch on 0333 000 2022 or you can visit our jobs page here.
