When setting up and managing a new home for Adults with Learning Disabilities,  I had cause to use agency staff to support the home while recruiting my own team.  I was lucky enough to come across Sandra Lindsay at Kare Plus Derby, who managed to source staff that met the needs and criteria of the home and company.  Sandra went out of her way to ensure the home had the right staff to provide continuity of care for the clients, even if it meant moving staff around other homes.  Sandra would regularly come to the home to confirm we were happy with the staff she had provided and check they continued to meet her agency's criteria for her staff being supplied to the home. At all times her professional approach and understanding was shown to our Company, Service Users and her own staff.
