“Three out of five employees in the UK have experienced mental health issues”. The statistics in themselves speak volumes.

At Kare Plus, a key philosophy is that we care about each other; so beginning a partnership with Able futures to help and support anyone in the Kare Plus network to cope better with mental health challenges, especially in light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, was simply an opportunity not to be ignored.

Able Futures are a nationwide specialist partnership set up to provide the Access to Work Mental Health Support Service on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions.  Their aim is to simply help people living with any mental health difficulties; confidentially access help and support to have more good days than bad ones.

This service has been received with open arms by the Kare Plus network. Our workforce is Kare Plus; without a healthy, focused, able and motivated workforce, there simply would be no Kare Plus.

We have all experienced many up and down days, especially through the extraordinary circumstance of Covid-19, and it has been a great solace to know that Able Futures is there for us all.
