Derby Is a renowned bustling cityscape with much to see and do, there is the Intu Shopping Centre, the picturesque River Derwent and the large shopping high streets, home to Lombe's Mill, the first factory in the world, Derby is considered the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. With the arrival of the railways in the 19th century, and due to its strategic central location, the city grew to become a foremost centre of the British rail industry.
Today, Derby is an internationally renowned centre for advanced transport manufacturing, home to the world’s second largest aero-engine manufacturer, Rolls-Royce, and Derby Litchurch Lane Works—the UK's only remaining train manufacturer.
Coincidentally, the pioneer of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale comes from Derbyshire, growing up near Matlock. Her childhood home, Embley Park is now a School for young adults. She spent the majority of her professional life writing medical journals, leading to the creation of modern Nursing and inspired many people to follow this profession.
The Derby office was opened in July 2015, supplying staff to many locations including Ashbourne, Ilkeston and Burton on Trent as well as the city itself. We have experienced staff ranging from Healthcare Assistants, Care Support Workers and Reginstered Nurses who have a wealth of knowledge and experience of supporting clients with; Learning Difficulties, Mental Health Issues, End of Life Care, Dementia and Elderly Frail as well as NHS Hospitals.
