Homecare services on the rise for Kare Plus

Despite well documented recent trends highlighting the challenges within the homecare sector, the UK’s most established multi-service healthcare franchise, Kare Plus continues to experience a growing number of its franchise owners not only achieving homecare registration with regulators, but also going on to build and develop commercially sustainable and quality focussed homecare provisions.

Over 40% of Kare Plus’ franchise owners have now achieved their CQC or CSSIW regulatory approved homecare registrations – many of which have done so in the last 12 months and are now collectively providing almost 30,000 hours of care each month - that’s almost 400,000 hours of high quality homecare each year!

Following the development of existing profitable nurse and HCA recruitment services, Kare Plus franchise owners are increasingly turning their attentions towards the franchise’s successful homecare model. A service that provides workers with variable hour contracts, higher-than-average pay rates and real career development opportunities underpinned with individual training programmes; all supported with extensive support and development structures weighted towards the private sector’s clients and customers.

Kare Plus’ Head of Domiciliary Care, Darren Guy commented on the recent news: “Within the increasingly challenging operational landscape of homecare, the Kare Plus approach to growing and developing sustainable service provisions is unquestionable. We work with both the public and private sector in achieving a balanced approach which ensures high quality care. Designed to meet the needs of customers and commissioners through sustained capacity and continuous service review and monitoring.”

It has also just been announced that 90% of the additional £2bn to be invested in the social care sector over the next two years is to be allocated to the Better Care Fund; closing the gap between health and care services. This is set to increase Kare Plus’ homecare growth even more.

With multiple services available to all of Kare Plus’ franchise owners, a profitable homecare service is the tip of the iceberg. Kare Plus also supplies specialist and non-specialist nursing staff, supported living services, critical care services and more.
