When choosing a homecare provider, it is important that you evaluate the quality of care which will be received. Before deciding whether or not Kare Plus is the right homecare provider for you or a loved one, you should gather as much information as possible.
Here at Kare Plus, we appreciate that it can be slightly unnerving at first to have unfamiliar people come into your home to provide care. That’s why we take the time to select a carer who will match both the care requirements and interests of the client. We continually access the client’s needs and report back to relatives and the client of any recommended adjustments to their care plan, which could be different visit times and procedures or the requirement for more or less care.
All our staff receive ongoing training and go through a rigorous recruitment process to ensure our team members provide the standard of care our customers expect from Kare Plus. We have staff from a variety of healthcare backgrounds, meaning we cater for a vast variety of specialist needs. We always aim to provide the same carer the client is familiar with to help build a relationship – all adding to the standard of care we provide and the customer’s quality of life.
We understand our service users’ needs for care, treatment and support and provide a personalised care plan which is created with their input to make sure their exact needs and wishes are met. We warrant the active involvement of family and friends where appropriate, confirming their personal choices are adhered to. As the service users wants, needs and preferences change, the way in which they are cared for will also change.
All homecare providers have to be CQC registered, and we are no different. The Care Quality Commission ensure that all homecare services within your community are up to scratch. When the CQC inspect our branches, they look at whether the service is: safe, effective, caring, responsive to people’s needs and well-lead.
