Kare Plus preparing for Great British Care Awards

Following the success of two Kare Plus domiciliary team members in the regional rounds of the Great British Care Awards last November, the Kare Plus family is now preparing for an evening at the National Finals.

Kare Plus Wolverhampton’s Angie Mason (West Midlands Home Care Manager of the Year) and Kare Plus Cheshire’s Lesley Crowe (North West Home Care Coordinator of the Year) are strong contenders for their respective categories in the national award ceremony tomorrow night at Birmingham’s ICC.

They will both be up against the winners of their respective categories from every other region in Great Britain – providing some tough competition, but also highlighting what an achievement reaching the national finals is for both Angie and Lesley.

Following the regional rounds though, Angie was adamant her success was not a one-man job, but a whole team effort by the Kare Plus Wolverhampton home care team: “If it wasn’t for the carers working so hard, this would never have happened. It’s a real team effort; they’re available 24/7, so it’s only right I make sure I’m always available too.”

The whole of Kare Plus are supporting both Angie and Lesley, and a number of the team will be in Birmingham with them at the awards ceremony tomorrow night.
