Ever wanted to get into care work?

Working as a carer can be a very rewarding job. You are allowing people to live their lives to the max and often becoming a key friend to some of the most vulnerable people in society.

Many jobs are described as having no two days the same, but as a new domiciliary carer this statement cannot be truer. You will be going to different homes each day, meeting new patients each day and undertaking different duties each day. Even if you do build up a routine of visits, the patients themselves will always have different needs.

It is often said that care work is poorly paid, but not with Kare Plus. We want to see more from our carers though, so we ensure we offer you the best training and support possible; helping you move up the career ladder and increase your earning potential.

The shift patterns of a domiciliary carer are extremely flexible. With daytime, evening, full time and part time work on offer, it is rare our carers struggle to fit their work around their personal lives.

If this sounds like something you would like to know more about, contact your local Kare Plus branch to find out more. You don’t need qualifications to begin and home carers are always in short supply; so you may be surprised how soon your new career could be off the ground.

Maybe you're studying? and would just like some part time work on the side. Here are seven reasons to work in the care industry whilst studying.
