Carers Week 2015 begins! 8th-14th June 2015

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.

There’s still time to get involved. This year the focus is on building Carer Friendly Communities, which support carers to look after their loved ones well, while recognising that they are individuals with needs of their own.

Carers Week is brought to life by the individuals and organisations who come together to organise activities and events throughout the UK, drawing attention to just how important caring is:  This week at Kare Plus branches around the country, we are pledging to provide support and information on a continual basis to aid those who are in the difficult position of caring for someone.  We will persevere to work hard to raise awareness of carers: A rising number of people in the UK who are overworked, unpaid, unseen and truly the unsung heroes of our society.
