Kare Plus Ashford aiming for a Kent Healthy Business award

Kare Plus Ashford is proud to announce its new Kent Healthy Business Award, an accreditation achieved for its commitment to creating safe and healthy work environments for their employees. Facilitating a healthy work environment can not only increase productivity in the workplace, but can also have a positive effect on the community as a whole.

The accreditation is based on “The Workplace Wellbeing Charter”, a set of guidelines that organisations can commit to. Following these guidelines can lead to a certified national status as a workplace committed to the well-being of its employees.

To demonstrate its dedication to improving the welfare of each and every one of its employees, Kare Plus Ashford recently conducted a health and safety survey which will help the healthcare organisation improve its carers’ and nurses’ wellbeing.
