The Healthcare Assistant HCA job role

This job would be ideal for somebody to develop a career in care with the flexibility to work hours that suited them, be part-time work at evenings and weekends to fit around another job or a full-time role with more traditional hours. You can vary your rota during term time to accommodate a child’s school routine or you can work shifts that fit your off-duty rota - it’s your choice!

We offer care to clients in a variety of environments including care homes, nursing homes and neurological centres, so it’s essential you have a minimum of three months professional care experience in the UK.  

You will play an essential part in supporting the well-being and quality of life of each individual in your care. Daily tasks may include assisting with washing and dressing, meal times, personal care and enabling clients to participate in their favourite activities.

In order to be considered for this Care Assistant job you will need the following:

• The right to live and work in the UK
• At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a care environment in the UK within the last 5 years
• Two professional references (from professinal/business email addresses) in addition to one character reference
• A professional attitude to care.
