Homecare by Kare Plus Leeds is currently looking for an experienced Field Care Supervisor to join our Homecare by Kare Plus Office in Leeds. We have over 30 years of experience in delivering care and support to individuals in their own homes. Our aim is to deliver the highest possible standard of care and first-class customer service first time, every time.

The role of the Field Care Supervisor/Senior is to supervise the assessment & delivery of quality-based Care functions within Kare Plus and support in the day-to-day activities within the Home Care teams as the needs of the business dictates, whilst ensuring that the reputation of the business is that of a company who provides a safe and effective service which enhances the lives of our customers.

As our Field Care Supervisor your key responsibilities will be:

  • To provide leadership to the Care functions of Kare Plus.
  • To provide Care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager, and within the financial plans agreed from time-to-time.
  • To supervise the Care services within Kare Plus in accordance with agreed standards.

Requirements:

  • Understand and work within the structure and ethos of the Kare Plus group
  • To work in line with the Kare Plus’s mission, vision, values.
  • Communicate effectively with office staff and care workers to ensure seamless working practices
  • To ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running and supervise staff.
  • To organize and co-ordinate care delivery in accordance with current best practices, policy, and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager and within the financial plans.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the standards required by legislation related to the registration of the business.
  • Support the monitoring of Care workers training compliance and the reporting of requirements in relation to this.
  • Support with the on-call out of hours service on a rotational basis as agreed by your manager.
  • Where the business needs this – Full flexibility to meet the demands of the service

Essential:

  • Fully flexible to meet the demands of the service.
  • A full driving license and use of a vehicle.

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a care
  • Professional Qualifications in Health and Social Care

This position would require you to work Monday – Friday and the hours would consist of standard office hours (09:00 – 17:00) with on-call/care call visits.
