Kare Plus Preston are looking for compassionate, approachable and person-focused support workers to provide care to a number of autism and/or acute mental health needs in the local community (across the Preston, Leyland and Chorley areas). Whether you're looking for part-time work a couple of mornings/evenings a week or you're looking for more regular, full-time work we have the role for you. You'll need to be a driver with access to your own vehicle, as you'll be travelling between the homes of multiple service users each day.

We will provide all support workers with constant, ongoing support, as well as a variety of staff perks including:

The ideal candidate would have experience working with autism, as we're looking to provide specialist support to our clients. However, full training and shadowing will be provided, and regardless of your background there will be roles you're able to carry out as part of our homecare team.

In addition to supporting autistic adults, the role will also provide you with opportunities to care for a number of other service users in the local area, each with their own needs and requirements (everything from dementia and elderly care to mental health support).
